ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT (CHICOPEE,MA)
The Assistant Accountant is a non-exempt position reporting to the Director of Finance. The position requires attention to detail, knowledge of accounting concepts, good communication skills and ability to work in a changeable environment. Responsibilities Review and reconcile monthly manager checks for compliance with acceptable spending of agency funds for house expenses. Prepare outstanding manager check lists and follow up with appropriate manager. Prepare daily outstanding check list for cash management by Chief Financial Officer. Process data entry to general ledger. Daily distribution of mail to all office personnel. Filing of representative payee documentation. Provide assistance/coverage of Accounts Payable function as needed. Assist Accounts Payable with coding Telephone/Cable/TV invoices. Process manual checks. Provide assistance/coverage of Payroll function as needed. Projects and other duties as assigned. Reports to the Director of Finance.

ABI/TBI PROGRAM MANAGER (SPRINGFIELD, MA)
Guidewire, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a Residential Program Manager for an acquired brain injury (ABI)/traumatic brain injury (TBI) funded site to join a team of motivated and dedicated professionals. This is a full time, exempt, management position located in the Springfield, MA area. Program Managers are responsible to ensure adherence to all ABI, MAP, funding agency, and state regulations. Qualified candidates will have the responsibility for ensuring that all supported individuals are receiving clinical and medical services. The ideal candidate will have management experience, strong leadership and supervisory skills, excellent time management and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Job Responsibilities include supervising and training Direct Support staff, scheduling and administrative duties, program support, MAP compliance, on call crisis phone rotation, managing funds. Qualifications: bachelor’s degree or 4 years management experience in human services or a related field preferred, experience working with individuals with disabilities in residential settings preferred, demonstrated written and oral communication skills, demonstrated ability to work independently, as a team and willingness to work cooperatively with others, familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, experience working for a non-profit organization preferred, and medical background is a plus.
